Seattle FD crew pulls body out of Elliott Bay

SEATTLE — Crews pulled a body of a man out of Elliott Bay at Pier 62 Saturday morning, according to the Seattle Fire Department.

Helen Fitzpatrick, a spokeswoman for the Seattle Fire Department, said firefighters received a call from the Port of Seattle before 9:30 a.m.

The Seattle Police Department’s dive team was also  at the location.

According to officials, the length of time the body was in the water is unknown at this time.

The fire department said the man was dead when they found him and the case is now being investigated by the Seattle Police Department.
