• Self-proclaimed anarchists vandalize Marysville businesses

MARYSVILLE, Wash. - Self-proclaimed anarchists have caused hundreds if not thousands of dollars in property damage in Marysville.

The vandals struck an Armed Forces Recruiting Center twice in the last week.

The first time, they just smashed out a window.

But according to a post on the Puget Sound Anarchists’ website, that wasn't enough.

See photos of the damage here.

"Some of us were not satisfied,” the post read, “so we did it again.  More windows smashed and the locks glued shut."

Early Monday morning, the vandals did the same thing at a nearby Wells Fargo branch.

"I think they're a bunch of hoodlums," said one bank customer.

Marysville Police detectives are hoping surveillance cameras at the bank spotted the people responsible.

Other than the Puget Sound Anarchists' website, Marysville police don't have many leads.

They'd like to hear from anyone who thinks they may have seen the vandals in action early Monday morning.
