Proposed schedule for new Kitsap Ferry Service

SEATTLE, Wash. — Kitsap Transit has set a proposed schedule for its new fast ferry service.

Beginning in July, Rich Passage 1 will make three round trips from Bremerton to Seattle during the morning commute and three during the evening rush.

There will also be 10 round trips on Saturdays, but only during the summer. As with Kitsap Transit buses, there will be no service on Sundays.

Community meetings on the proposed schedule are set for Saturday at the following times and locations:

  • 9:30 a.m. at the North Kitsap Transit Center
  • 11:30 a.m. at Oxford Suites
  • 3:00 p.m. at Port Orchard City Hall

A second Bremerton meeting is set for 6:00 p.m. on April 5 at the Harborside Building.

Proposed schedule for new ferry:

Monday through Friday:

  • Departing Bremerton: 5:40 a.m., 6:50 a.m., 8 a.m., 3:25 p.m., 4:35 p.m., 5:50 p.m.
  • Departing Seattle: 6:15 a.m., 7:25 a.m., 8:35 a.m., 4 p.m., 5:15 p.m., 6:25 p.m.

Saturday:

  • Departing Bremerton: 10:30 a.m., 11:50 a.m., 1:10 p.m., 2:30 p.m., 3:50 p.m., 5:30 p.m., 6:50 p.m., 8:10 p.m., 9:30 p.m., 10:50 p.m.
  • Departing Seattle: 11:10 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 1:50 p.m., 3:10 p.m., 4:30 p.m., 6:10 p.m., 7:30 p.m., 8:50 p.m., 10:10 p.m., 11:30 p.m.
