Graco recalls child car seat over safety harness

The maker of child products, Graco is recalling a child car seat.

The recall is being issued on the MY Ride 65 model which the company says the child seat webbing may not adequately restrain a child if there is a crash.

The models affected are: 1871689, 1908152, 1813074, 1872691, 1853478, 1877535, 1813015 and the 1794334.

These products were manufactured in 2014.

Graco plans to notify registered owners and provide replacement harnesses.

Consumers can contact the company at 1-800-345-4109, or the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4237.

The recall is expected to begin on July 17.
