Second suspect arrested in Lake Desire homicide

LAKE DESIRE, Wash. — Police said a group people went to 27-year-old Ryan Prince's home Feb. 17 and tried to steal money he made from selling medical marijuana.

Prince ended up shot multiple times with multiple weapons that day.  It led investigators to believe multiple suspects were involved.

Steven Marshall, 34, of Tacoma, was arraigned earlier this month.  Friday, King County Protectors also filed murder charges against Ryan Erker, 34.

The court papers show he spent hours scouting the victim's home, and lied to police after the victim was killed.  Erker is also accused of trying to get rid of a PT Cruiser used in the crime.  Prince snapped a picture of the car with his cellphone before he died.

Documents show Erker tried to erase his phone once deputies became suspicious of him.  The papers also show even more people involved in this crime.

Erker will have his first formal court appearance April 4.
