Seahawks trade quarterback Matt Flynn to Raiders

SEATTLE — The Seattle Seahawks announced Monday that they have traded quarterback Matt Flynn to the Oakland Raiders.

In the trade, the Seahawks received two draft choices. The deal would get the team a fifth-round pick in the 2014 NFL Draft and a conditional pick in the 2015 draft.

Flynn was signed in a free agency in March 2012. He spent one season with the Seahawks as the backup to Russell Wilson.

Flynn was also a former backup quarterback to Aaron Rodgers with the Green Bay Packers.
