Seahawks return to Seattle after flight delays

SeaTac, Wash. — Even Super Bowl champions have to deal with flight delays. The plane carrying the Seattle Seahawks finally touched down Monday evening at Sea-Tac Airport after a long journey west.
The charter flight was delayed by a snowstorm in Newark, N.J. After a couple of hours on the tarmac, the plane finally took off, only to be diverted to Minneapolis.

KIRO 7's Steve Raible, the voice of the Seahawks, was on the plane and said the weather delays meant the crew timed out, and had to land to get off the clock.
With new crew members, and after the plane was de-iced again, the team finally arrived at Sea-Tac around 6p.m. Monday.
