SEATTLE - In the wake of the Seahawks Super Bowl win, the 12th Man is already stocking up on new championship gear in time for a huge celebration parade planned for Wednesday.
Shirts, hats -- you name it -- if it says Seahawks Super Bowl Champions on it -- the 12th Man wants it!
Dick’s Sporting Goods in Seattle stayed open late Sunday night and opened its doors early Monday to meet demand.
Also opening earlier than usual, at 8 a.m., was the Seahawks Pro Shop at CenturyLink Field.
Faithful Seahawks fans passed up sleep and maybe even work to be here. It was a scene that resembled Black Friday.
From Renton to CenturyLink Field, fans lined up to fill up on championship swag before work.
Once inside, fans stocked up on hats, jerseys -- anything with a Super Bowl emblem on it.
The 12s are ready to wear their pride on their sleeves.
Though the team will be flying in to SeaTac Airport Monday evening, fans will not be allowed to line up along South 188th Street or along Seahawks Way outside the VMAC.
There will also be no access for fans to see the team’s plane landing at the airport.
The Seahawks organization wants fans to instead attend a parade Wednesday in downtown Seattle.
The parade will start at 11 a.m. at Seattle and go down Fourth Avenue to CenturyLink Field. Get more details about the parade here.
The team will be releasing more information about the event later Monday.
