KIRO 7’s meteorologist, Sam Argier, gave back to the community this past weekend and emceed the March for Babies Walk in Everett. With more than 800 walkers and $215,000 raised, the event truly made a difference in the lives of babies in the Pacific Northwest.
“It felt great to emcee the annual March for Babies walk in Everett,” said Argier. “It put a smile on my face to see so many volunteers and companies around Snohomish County coming out to support healthy babies. I was honored to take part and help KIRO 7 Eyewitness News give back to the community.”
The funds raised from the walk support programs throughout Western Washington that are committed to assisting moms have healthy and safe pregnancies. In addition, the donations help fund research that advocates for babies’ needs.
