SEATTLE - The NFL announced Monday afternoon that Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson has been added to the NFC Pro Bowl roster, said officials with the Seahawks.
Wilson will replace an injured Matt Ryan of the Atlanta Falcons.
The addition to the roster makes Wilson the sixth Seahawks player on the team.
Wilson will be joining offensive linemen Max Unger and Russell Okung, running back Marshawn Lynch, safety Earl Thomas and kick return specialist Leon Washington.
After the 2007 season, the Seahawks sent six players to the Pro Bowl, and seven were sent after the 2005 season.
