EVERETT, Wash. - After searching Friday for a person possibly missing in Silver Lake, a body was found Saturday morning, Everett police said.
The body was discovered around 10:30 a.m.
On Friday afternoon, a resident in the area reported seeing someone struggling in the water near a boat, police said.
When police and fire crews responded to Silver Lake, they found an empty boat in the water.
Approximately an hour after crews arrived, there was still no sign or confirmation of a missing person.
Snohomish County deputies searched Saturday morning and found the body of a man in his 40s.
Crews recovered the body, and the Snohomish County Medical Examiner's Office will determine the identity.
