Refuse to Abuse 5K Run/Walk at Safeco Field

Join KIRO 7 Cares for the only run/walk inside Safeco Field -- the second annual Refuse to Abuse 5K on July 20. Participants can run or walk around every level of Safeco Field, from the top of the tunnel to the final lap around this field.

This is your chance to step out on the field of a major ball park in this unique fundraiser to prevent domestic violence.

Your registration includes free parking, and the top individual fundraiser will toss out the honorary first pitch at an upcoming Mariners game. The team with the highest fundraising gets a luxury suite at an upcoming Mariners game.

The event is for a great cause, benefiting Washington State Coalition Against Domestic Violence. So come join KIRO 7 and Northwest Cadillac Dealers at the Refuse to Abuse 5K on July 20.

The Washington State Coalition Against Domestic Violence is the leading voice to end domestic violence in Washington. Founded in 1990 by survivors and their allies, WSCADV is a non-profit network of domestic violence programs that serves survivors across the state.

Mission: WSCADV mobilizes our member programs and allies to end domestic violence through advocacy and action for social change.

Funding: WSCADV relies on a combination of government contracts, grants, fees, and donations. Approximately 87% of funds go to program work and 13% to support administration.
