Power out for 3,800 in Beacon Hill, Rainier Valley

SEATTLE — From Seattle City Light:

Seattle City Light repair crews responded to a power outage affecting about 3,800 homes and businesses in the  Beacon Hill- Rainier Valley area Monday afternoon.

The outage started about 3:40 p.m. The cause an equipment failure. An initial estimate for restoration of service was set for 7:30 p.m.

The general boundaries of the outage were S. Holly Street on the north; S. Norfolk Street on the south; Airport Way S on the west; and Lake Washington on the east.
