SEATTLE - A 15-year-old boy was injured in a hit-and-run Friday night in the Rainier Valley, police said.
The collision happened after 8 p.m. when the teen and his brother were crossing Martin Luther King Jr. Way South.
According to police, as the two were crossing, a vehicle traveling south on MLK Jr. Way S was approaching South Walden Street when the vehicle struck the teen. The driver did not stop and continued traveling south on MLK Jr. Way S.
Crews responded to the location to treat the pedestrian, and medics took him to Harborview Medical Center with a life-threatening head-injury.
Police described the vehicle as a possibly newer dark gray or charcoal Honda. The vehicle has a missing driver’s door mirror and broken front headlight assembly.
