Seattle police search for double homicide suspect turns up empty

Seattle police are serving a search warrant in connection with the Leschi double homicide in May

SEATTLE, Wash. - Seattle police did not find a suspect in connection with the Leschi double homicide in May.

Thursday night, police detectives served a search warrant at 130th Street North and Aurora Avenue North for Ali Muhammed Brown.  

Police have been searching for Brown in connection with the double homicide.  

A large police response was called to the area and police asked people to stay away from the intersection.

Witnesses at the scene took photos of SWAT vehicles in a nearby parking lot.

By 7.30pm, police wrapped up their search at the scene, and tweeted:    "Leschi homicide susp not found @ 130/Aurora. Dets still need help finding Ali Muhammed Brown."

Police have also said another man, Matalepuna Malum is a suspect in the double murder.

Malu is in federal custody on unrelated charges.
