Police seek help in identifying Bellingham rioters


Bellingham police used tear gas on students after a block party spiraled out of control near Western Washington University.

BELLINGHAM, Wash. - The Bellingham Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying people in the riot near the Western Washington University campus last weekend.

On Thursday afternoon, police released a set of photos of suspected rioters involved in the incident.

Police said hundreds of college-age revelers threw projectiles at police ,who responded with pepper spray to disperse them late Saturday night. Three people were arrested during the melee.
