Police searching for 2 women in critical injury hit-and-run

FEDERAL WAY, Wash. — Federal Way police are searching for two women who witnesses said they saw walking away from a head-on crash that critically injured a 27-year-old man Thursday night.

According to a police report, witnesses saw the two women in their late teens or early 20s walk away from the crash that occurred at 1100 Southwest Campus Drive around 10:36 p.m.

When police arrived, they found a critically-injured man outside his truck and another abandoned vehicle.

The man was transported to Harborview Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

Witnesses said the women were picked up by another vehicle near the crash scene. There is no description of that vehicle.

Police said they notified area hospitals to be on the lookout for two women who may come in for treatment with injuries consistent with a car crash.

The driver is described as a white woman, about 18 years old, 5 feet and 2 inches tall, 100 pounds with blond hair.  Her passenger is described as a white woman who is 20-22 years old, 5 feet 2 inches tall, about 100 pounds with blond hair.
