SEATTLE - Police are searching for an armed man who robbed a bank in Seattle’s Magnolia neighborhood.
The robbery occurred at the US Bank at 3124 West McGraw Street shortly after 11 a.m.
According to police, a man walked into the bank, pulled out a gun and ordered customers and bank staff to the ground.
He demanded money and then ran from the bank with a bag of cash.
The robber is described as a white man with dark hair. He was dressed in a yellow jacket, mask and sunglasses.
Video from Chopper 7 showed officers in an alley about a block from the bank taking a yellow jacket out of a recycling bin and looking for other signs of the robber.
Anyone who recognizes the robber or has any information about the robbery is asked to contact the Seattle Police Department robbery unit at 206-684-5535.
