Police search for suspect in chase from Seattle to Shoreline

SHORELINE, Wash. — Police blocked off streets and officers had guns drawn while looking for suspects in a car chase that began in Seattle and ended in Shoreline.

Seattle police said dispatchers received a call Monday afternoon about a car that was driving in circles and dumping clothes and other items.

Officers responded and the pursuit began at 1:30 p.m. in North Seattle in the 1000 block of 120th Street and headed north.

A check of the license plate verified that the car was stolen.

The chase ended in Shoreline at 175th and 15th where two men got out of the car and ran from the scene.

The driver was taken into custody.  Police blocked off streets during the search for the passenger.

Video from Chopper 7 showed a car being towed away and officers searching with guns drawn.

Police used a K-9 to search for the man along Northeast Serpentine Place at Northeast 175th  Street.

The second man remains at large.
