Police say 3 patrol cars rammed during Marysville chase

Deputies who attempted to stop an SUV in Marysville said the fleeing driver rammed three patrol cars.
The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office said the chase began when officers tried to stop a vehicle in the Home Depot parking lot on Quil Ceda Boulevard that was reported to have been used in the armed robbery of an espresso stand in the Machias area earlier this month.
When deputies tried to stop the female driver and her male passenger Monday morning, the SUV failed to stop and a pursuit began.

MARYSVILLE, Wash. — At some point, the driver rammed three patrol cars during the chase.

The fleeing vehicle was stopped when officers performed a PIT maneuver that resulted in the SUV flipping and hitting a fence off Quil Ceda Boulevard.

The couple in the SUV, a 30-year-old woman and a 32-year-old man, was taken into custody.

It is unclear whether the two are suspects in the espresso stand robbery, which remains under investigation.

No injuries were reported, but the couple was evaluated by medics.
