• Police rescue dog that had been in car at least 6 days


    SEATTLE - Police had to rescue a small dog from a car at a West Seattle grocery store.

    A security guard told officers the car had been at Westwood Village for at least six days.

    Police are not sure how long the dog was inside the car but said he had no food or water.

     Investigators said a man who was watching the dog for its owner  left the animal in the car.
