BELLEVUE, Wash. - The 89-year-old Bellevue woman reported missing Friday was found safe Saturday afternoon, said the Washington State Patrol.
Patricia Thomas’ son reported her missing when she did not go home from her daily routine of errands in the Bellevue area, police said.
Thomas’ son drove around to her usual destinations but was unable to locate her and her silver 2009 Chevrolet Aveo. She also does not carry a cellphone.
Police checked the area and surrounding agencies and hospitals were notified.
Troopers said WSP communications officers played a role in locating Patricia Thomas. Authorities received a call from a person who recognized Thomas’ car and Des Moines police contacted Thomas.
Thomas is now back in a safe environment.
