SEATTLE - A man was taken into custody Saturday morning after he threw a large bottle of liquor at officers in Queen Anne, according to the Seattle Police Department.
The incident happened around 9 a.m. in the 900 block of Queen Anne Avenue North.
Officers were dispatched to the location to investigate a man breaking the windows of his apartment and throwing items out the window.
When officers arrived, they found a broken apartment window.
Police said officers attempted to communicate with the man, but the man started cursing. The man then picked up a liquor bottle, and threw it at the officers.
The bottle missed the officers, and the man threatened them.
Police used a Taser gun on the man and took him into custody.
The man was later booked into the King County Jail for investigation of assault.
The officers were not hurt during the incident.
