Police: Man robs pharmacy in Columbia City

SEATTLE — Police are looking for an armed man with a knife who robbed a Columbia City pharmacy Saturday morning.

The robbery happened at the Premier Pharmacy in the 5400 block of Rainier Avenue South after 9 a.m.

Police said the armed man demanded employees to hand over drugs.

The man fled the scene with an unknown amount of prescription drugs and remains at large.

Nobody was injured during the time of the robbery.

Police described the robber as a Hispanic or Southeast Asian man in his late 20s, 5-feet 5-inches tall, with facial hair, and was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and jeans.

The incident will remain as an ongoing investigation.
