The woman now faces charges after alleged threats.
MARYSVILLE, Wash. —

A 26-year-old man was injured early Sunday morning after he was stabbed in Marysville, police said.

The stabbing happened in the 5000 block of 139th Place Northeast around 3:30 a.m.

According to police, a 911 call indicated that there was a man with blood on his face on the front porch of a residence.

Officers were notified of a second 911 call from the house next door, which reported that a man jumped over their fence and was carrying two knives. People at the house held the man down until police arrived.

The 30-year-old man was taken into custody for questioning before being booked at the Snohomish County Jail on suspicion of first-degree assault and domestic violence.

The victim was taken to Everett Hospital with multiple non-life-threatening stab wounds.

"We do not yet know what transpired before the stabbing took place and continue to investigate," stated Commander Robb Lamoureux.

Police said the two men are related and the stabbing is not a random act.
