Police looking for Subway robber who forced customers on ground

PACIFIC, Wash. — Pacific police are looking for a man who robbed a Subway Thursday evening.

The robbery happened at the restaurant located on Ellingson Road around 10:41 p.m.

Officers responded to the location after a report of an armed robbery in progress.

According to police, a man ordered customers on the ground while he demanded money from the cash register.

The man then fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction with an undisclosed amount of money.

No one was hurt and there were no injuries during the robbery.

After a search of the area, officers did not find the robber.

Police described the robber as a black man, in his mid to late 20s, 5 feet 11 inches to 6 feet tall, medium build, wearing a black puffy jacket and black pants.

According to police, witnesses said the man implied he had a gun, while holding a tan-colored bag containing an item what looked like a gun.
