Police look for Renton bank robber

RENTON, Wash. — The Renton Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who robbed a bank Friday afternoon.

Police said at about 3 p.m., a man entered a US Bank in downtown Renton and approached a teller with a note, which demanded money and claimed he was armed.

The robber then fled the scene on foot with an unknown amount of cash.

Anyone with information about the robber or the incident is urged to call Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or the Renton Police Department at 425-430-7500.
