Police look for Rainier Valley bank robber

SEATTLE — Police are looking for an armed man who robbed a Rainier Valley bank Thursday afternoon.

The robbery happened at the Key Bank in the 9200 block of Rainier Avenue South before 4 p.m.

Police described the man as black, 25 to 30 years old, 5 feet 6 inches tall, wearing an off-white or beige puffy jacket with a hood, black ski cap underneath, dark pants and armed with a gun.

The man was last seen running southbound and remains at large.

The robbery remains as an active ongoing investigation.

Anyone with information about the robbery or the whereabouts of the described man, is urged to call 911 or the Seattle Police Department.
