Police investigating Kirkland death as potential homicide

KIRKLAND, Wash. — Police were called to a Kirkland home after a resident there found a woman dead in a bedroom.

Police were called to the home in the 9800 block of Northeast 130th Place at 3:17 p.m. Monday after the 28-year-old woman's body was found.

Detectives were called to the scene and executed a search warrant at the home to investigate the circumstances surrounding the woman’s death.

The investigation is being pursued by investigators as a potential homicide but the cause and manner of death have not been determined.

The investigation is being conducted by Kirkland Police Department detectives and Washington State Patrol Crime Lab personnel.
