Police investigate body found in Olympia marina

OLYMPIA, Wash. — A man’s body was found floating in an Olympia marina Sunday morning, police said.

According to authorities, officers responded to a report of a man in the water at Westbay Marina after 11:30 a.m.

When officers arrived to the location, they determined the full-clothed body was in the water for six to 18 hours.

According to police, the man lived aboard a boat at the marina.

The cause of death is still unknown, and police are still investigating the incident.

The man has been identified, but the name will not be released until family has been notified.
