1 of 2 suspects identified in 3 shootings



FEDERAL WAY, Wash. - Police identified a suspect in two shootings in Federal Way and a third in Des Moines, and police said a second person is involved as well.

According to police, Bernard Bellerouche is considered armed and dangerous.

Last week, Federal Way police officers were called after receiving reports of gunshots in the 27600 block of Pacific Highway South.  Police found a man who had been shot.  He died from his injuries.

On Monday night, Des Moines officers responded to a report of shots fired in the area of South 218th and 29th Avenue South. Officers found a 28-year-old man with a gunshot wound.  He was taken to Harborview Medical Center to be treated for his injuries. His condition is unknown.

Early Tuesday morning, Federal Way police responded to a report of a shooting in the 28100 block of 18th Avenue South. Police found a man, 22-year-old George Gabrial, with a gunshot wound seated in a vehicle.  He later died from his injuries.

Gabrial was a Marine who took two weeks leave to be home with familyand his newlywed wife.

Gabrial was shot and killed while looking for a parking space.  His wife was in the seat next to him.

Detectives served a search warrant at a home in 27800 block of Pacific Highway South, which is the last known address of Bellerouche, but he was not there.
