Police check report of car shot on Interstate 5

A man called police saying one of his car windows was shot on Interstate 5 on Tuesday, but an investigation showed there was no gunshot.

The man, who drove a white Toyota Prius, was stopped near exit 174 on northbound I-5. Chopper 7 was overhead and showed a State Patrol trooper checking the car on the right shoulder near Northeast 130th Street. About a half hour after the report was received, the State Patrol said there was not a shooting.
