SEATTLE - A burglar was taken into custody Saturday after he was found coming out of a South Lake Union building.
The incident happened at the old Troy Laundry facility in the 300 block of Fairview Avenue North.
Police responded to a report of a burglary before 5:30 a.m.
When officers arrived at the location, they searched the area and found a man who emerged from a door. Officers arrested him.
Police said the property manager discovered that the alarm system was tampered.
The facility was going to be torn down to make way for office towers.
The incident remains as an active ongoing investigation.
