Police: 3 juveniles taken into custody after trying to steal musical instruments

SEATTLE — Officers took three juveniles into custody after they attempted to take musical instruments from a Seattle middle school early Saturday morning.

Around 1:30 a.m., officers responded to Eckstein Middle School at 3003 Northeast 75^th Street after an alarm went off.

When police arrived at the scene, they found three young people inside the school with flashlights attempting to steal musical instruments.

After officers spotted them, the three people dropped the equipment and fled out an exit door.

Police took the three juveniles into custody.

The three were interviewed and later released to their parents.
