Police: 3 arrested in Beacon Hill burglary


SEATTLE - Three people were arrested after a burglary in Seattle’s Beacon Hill neighborhood, police said.

The incident happened at about 1:30 p.m. Friday.

Police said a resident reported seeing two young men checking windows and knocking on the front door of a neighbor’s home.

The two then entered the home wearing latex gloves and were seen fleeing the home with a full duffle bag. The resident gave police a description of the getaway vehicle and the two burglars.

Police then surrounded the area and saw a vehicle that fled the 3000 block of South Willow Street.

Authorities said the two burglars were 17-year-old boys and the driver was a 23-year-old. All three were arrested.

The teens were booked into the King County’s Youth Service Center on investigation of burglary and the 23-year-old was booked into the King County Jail on investigation of possession of stolen property.

Police returned the stolen property.
