• Police: 2 men wounded by knives at Pioneer Square nightclub


    SEATTLE - Two men were assaulted with knives early Saturday morning at a Pioneer Square nightclub, according to the Seattle Police Department.


    The incident occurred at a nightclub in the 150 block of South Washington Street around 12:49 a.m.


    Officers responded to the location after a report of a fight at the establishment.


    After officers arrived to the location, they were informed that two men were stabbed inside.


    During an investigation, officers found the two men, believed to be in their 20s.


    Medics responded to the scene to treat the victims.


    Police said one man sustained a slash wound on his back and the other man sustained a deeper slash across his chest. Both were taken to Harborview Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.


    Officers interviewed numerous people at the establishment about the stabbing, but could not get information about the attackers, who remain at large.


    The incident will remain as an active and ongoing investigation.
