After a three-year hiatus, Pearl Jam on Monday announced its first all-North American tour since 2010.

The alternative rock group said today they’ll embark on a two-leg, 24-date tour beginning this fall with stops in Spokane and Seattle.

The tour’s East Coast leg starts October 11 in Pittsburgh and wraps up the weekend of November 1 in New Orleans at the Voodoo+ Music Experience.

Pearl Jam starts the West Coast leg in Dallas on November 15. The second leg includes dates in Portland, Ore. and Vancouver, British Columbia.  The tour's last stop is December 6th at KeyArena.

Rumblings about a possible tour began a week ago when the Seattle band posted a countdown clock on its website. The clock struck zero Monday afternoon, when tour announcements were made.

Fans will have to wait until late July to purchase tickets: public tickets for Pearl Jam's North American dates go on-sale Saturday, July 27 at 10 a.m.

A special ticket pre-sale for current Pearl Jam Ten Club members began Monday.

After the announcement KIRO 7 pulled our archive footage of Pearl Jam’s Drop in the Park show, which was Sept. 20, 1992 at Seattle’s Magnuson Park.
