One dead, 2 injured in Auburn fight

AUBURN, Wash. — A fight between four people ended with a fatal shooting in Auburn Monday night.

Two others were seriously injured, according to Auburn police.

Police responded to reports of gunfire shortly after 8:30 p.m. in the 2200 block of I Street Northeast.  When officers arrived, they found two men shot and a woman who had stab wounds on her hands.

One man died at the scene.

The other injured man and woman were transported to Harborview Medical Center.  They are expected to survive, police said.

Detectives are still trying to determine how the fight started and who may be responsible for the shootings.
