Officers make arrests after Capitol Hill shooting

SEATTLE — Seattle police arrested three people on Capitol Hill early Sunday morning after reports of a shooting.

One man was grazed by gunfire, according to Seattle police.

The shooting happened on the 1300 block of East Spring Street.

The victim was treated at the scene by firefighters, according to Seattle police.

A K-9 officer and bicycle officers tracked a man who allegedly fled the shooting scene in a construction site. He was arrested.

Officers also stopped a car linked to the shooting. Several people were inside the vehicle. Police searched the car and located a stolen gun. Two of the passengers were taken into custody for investigation of possession of a firearm, according to Seattle police.

Officers also found shell casings and a handgun hidden in bushes a few blocks away from where the shooting occurred.
