Officers arrest gun-toting teens

SEATTLE, Wash. — Seattle Police booked two teens on gun and drug charges Friday after hearing reports of trespassing and pot smoking near a Rainier Beach apartment complex.

Police arrived at the apartment complex, located in the 8700 block of Rainer Avenue South, at around 8 p.m.

A resident told police that four juvenile boys in a stairwell were the responsible for the trespassing and pot fumes.

The group of teens took off when spotted.

Officers caught up to three of the teens and found a .45 pistol at the bottom of the stairs where one of the teens, a 16-year-old, had been sitting.

Police also found a small bag of marijuana of one of the other teens, a 14-year-old was also had a felony warrant for his arrest.
