Woman and 8-month old son missing in Mill Creek found safe

MILL CREEK, Wash. — Mill Creek Police were searching for a missing 19-year-old woman and her 8-month-old child, but they were found safe Wednesday morning.

Candace P. Adams was last seen at the Heatherwood Apartments at 13510 North Creek Drive in Mill Creek at about 7 p.m. on Tuesday when she walked away with her son, Zeus, in a stroller.

Adams told her family that she was headed to Fred Meyer.  When she had not returned after midnight, her husband contacted family and friends.  When no one knew where she might be, he called 911.

Police said the woman and her baby were found safe but only said they were conducting interviews and did not have further information.
