LYNNWOOD, Wash. — Lynnwood police are searching for a suspect after a 50-year-old man reported he was assaulted Wednesday morning on the campus of Edmonds Community College.
The victim told police the suspect got on a bus before a college campus stop and argued with the bus driver, officials said.
Police said the victim told officers the suspect noticed him during the bus ride and then followed him off the bus to the campus.
The victim told police the suspect punched him multiple times and then left on foot, officials said.
Police said the victim was treated for minor injuries at Swedish Edmonds.
According to police, the suspect is described as a black man in his 30s or 40s with a thin build and is between 5 feet, 10 inches, and 6 feet tall. He was reportedly wearing an orange construction vest and a hard hat.
