Teen accused of ramming another teen with car turns himself in

LAKE STEVENS, Wash. — UPDATE: Lake Stevens police said Alexander Lamoureux turned himself in Tuesday night. He was booked into the Snohomish County Jail on charges of assault with a weapon.

Andrew Bakko, 17, spoke slowly and steadily with his friends by his side for support, three days after he said his former best friend, Alexander Lamoureux and ex-girlfriend, ran him over and stabbed him.

“They ended up finding out where I was and came over and tried to kill me,” Bakko said.

He showed his knee and elbow scrapes from being rammed by the car while hanging out near the Cedarwood Apartments.

“He sped around the corner, almost hit cars and homes, then hit me,” Bakko said.

Lamoureux then got out of the car and headed right for Bakko.  While they were fighting, the ex-girlfriend snuck up from behind with a knife.

“She tried to stab me four times in my back, and one time in my chest,” he said showing his wounds.  “I got lucky and only one was deep, 2-3 inches deep in between my spine… and my kidney... There was 10-15 doctors all around just saying how lucky I was and saying I was about to die.”

Others in the area were lucky as well.  Sheena Steen left a minute before the car flew down the street to get her daughter Baylee at the bus stop.

“I happened to be right where he would have been driving,” Steen said.

Lamoureux and the ex-girlfriend fled the scene, but she turned herself in.  Lake Stevens police found Lamoureux’s car, but are still looking for him.
