VANCOUVER, Wash. — Police are asking for the public's help in finding a missing 18-year-old was was last seen in Mount Vernon, WA after being released from Skagit Valley Hospital on Jan. 2.
The Mount Vernon Police Department confirmed to KIRO 7 that Austin Timpe, originally from Vancouver Washington, boarded a bus from Mount Vernon to Everett after being released from the hospital, but has not been seen since.
According to a Facebook page set up by family members, Timpe is 5 foot 9 inches, about 185 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes. A description in the Facebook page says Timpe is "diagnosed as schizophrenic, probably somewhat disoriented and desperate."
Anyone with information regarding Timpe's whereabouts is asked to call the Clark County Sheriff’s Office at (360) 397-2211 and/or the Skagit County Mount Vernon Police Department at (360) 336-6271.
