Marysville police are searching for two suspects Tuesday night after a shooting that left a man injured.
Officers responded after receiving an assault with weapons call after 7 p.m. near the Village Inn Motel at Third Street and Beach Avenue.
When an officer arrived at the scene, they found a 31-year-old man with a gunshot wound in the north parking lot of the motel.
The man was taken to Providence Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Witnesses told police two men were seen running from the parking lot and leaving in a white SUV.
Police do not believe the shooting was random and there is no threat to the community.
