MARYSVILLE, Wash. — An HOV lane on northbound I-5 was shut down at 52nd SE near Everett Sunday evening as Washington State Patrol searched for a "high-violent offender" with DOC warrants who fled a car chase.
Marysville police tried stopping a car at 5:41 p.m. The driver got onto SB 1-5 from 88th in Marysville, and the chase ended at mile post 180 near Lynnwood.
The male driver, who has felony arrest warrants, fled on foot.
At 6:12 p.m. Marysville police tweeted that they had the suspect in custody

Marysville police later reported the suspect was hiding when a K9 sniffed him out. His only injuries are minor scratches and scrapes from blackberry bushes
