LAKE STEVENS, Wash. - A police search for the driver of a stolen car has caused a lockdown of Cavelero Mid High School in Lake Stevens.
When officers stopped a stolen vehicle, the driver ran away. Police say the man may be armed so the school was locked down as a precaution at about 9:30 a.m. There is no direct threat to the school.
Officers and a K-9 unit are searching for the man between the school and Highway 2.
