The slide struck the gas meter on the side of the home.

Everyone in the home got out OK, but the natural gas leak caused the fire department to evacuate 30 homes on 73rd and 74th Streets.

A Puget Sound Energy crew had stopped the leak by about 6:35 a.m.

Several homes remained evacuated until a geological engineer completed an evaluation and deemed it was safe for everyone to return to their homes, except for the home that was hit by the mudslide.

No one was hurt.
