Fire breaks out at Everett apartment complex

EVERETT, Wash. — Several units were damaged when a fire broke out at an Everett apartment complex.

The fire at the Highlander Apartments, at 2415 11th St., was reported at 5:14 a.m. Tuesday.

One person has minor injuries.

Fire crews were seen throwing burning furniture out of a window while they were flighting the fire.

The flames are now out.

Three upstairs units were damaged by fire and others have water damage.

Firefighters are sifting through burned debris trying to determine the point of origin.
