EVERETT, Wash. — A home in Everett was destroyed in an early morning fire Monday.
Everett fire said the flames at the vacant home at 35th and Rucker broke out at about 2:30 a.m.
Arriving firefighters said they found fire on the second floor and flames shooting from every window. At one point, the home was engulfed in flames.
A neighbor said they saw transients running away from the home.
No one was hurt.
Firefighters are waiting for daylight to enter the home to determine the cause.
